Anjolie Fang, University of California Los Angeles

Anjolie Fang is a third year Sociology major student at the University of California, Los Angeles, with a strong interest in youth advocacy, social justice, and community engagement. Before transferring to UCLA, she earned an Associate Degree for Transfer in Sociology from City College of San Francisco, where she was recognized on the Dean’s List for academic achievement. Anjolie has previously participated in the Opportunities for All Criminal Justice Cohort with the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, where she developed communication and leadership skills, collaborated on a mock criminal trial case, and presented legal topics to legislative officials. She has also served in student leadership roles through the Associated Student Council and as Public Relations Officer for the Psychology and Health Club at City College of San Francisco, supporting student outreach, wellness programming, and campus engagement. Beyond campus, Anjolie has spent several years organizing working alongside fellow youth through the Chinese Progressive Association, helping lead community events and social justice education initiatives focused on racial equity and youth empowerment. Outside of school and work, she enjoys spending time with friends, exploring new cafés and food spots.
