Sarah Frazer, George Washington University

In May 2022, Sarah Frazer graduated from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University with a Master’s in Security Policy Studies and a concentration in U.S. national security and focus on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East. Prior to grad school, Sarah graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in May 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Government with Departmental Honors. Sarah is pursuing a career in international relations and intelligence.

Sarah’s research experience has mainly concerned the politics of the Middle East, e.g., Iranian foreign policy and U.S.-Saudi relations; counterterrorism, global poverty, and U.S. politics. Her research interests range from the MENA region, especially Iran and its non-state partners; climate change and its impact on U.S. national and transnational security issues; policies related to refugees and internally displaced people; and counterterrorism, both foreign and domestic.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys drawing, playing the guitar and piano, and cooking while listening to her favorite podcasts. Sarah is excited to join the ACE team!
