Larissa Cursaro is an upcoming senior at Scripps College studying Politics and Foriegn Languages. Larissa has taken a variety of classes ranging from courses on American political economy to courses discussing the economics of global cultural institutions. They have volunteered for several political campaigns local to their area and are on the Executive Board of the non-profit Claremont Change working to make their community more equitable for residents of all backgrounds. Larissa has conducted political research since their first year at Scripps College and has since found a particular interest in global political resistance and immigration policy. When they are not immersed in reading a case study or phone-banking for a grassroots campaign, Larissa enjoys reading books of all genres–but particularly enjoys historical fiction–and playing songs on their guitar.
