Aidan is a senior at Columbia University studying economics-mathematics with an interest in the economics of education. He has worked directly with students, most recently as a Teach For America Ignite Fellow. As an Ignite Fellow, Aidan had the opportunity to work with two students at a time, teaching 7th-grade math. Previously, Aidan has worked with Apex for Youth in New York City, teaching social-emotional learning to elementary students in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. These experiences have motivated him to dissect the economic structure of modern K-12 educational systems. In the fall of 2024, he will begin teaching secondary school math as a Teach For America corps member in the Boston region. At Columbia, Aidan is a board member of Columbia University Tae Kwon Do club and works as a resident adviser during the school year. In his free time, he enjoys baking, walking around the city, and playing with his two dogs.
