Jules Salinas is an undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in International Relations and Global Studies with a focus on international security. The evolution of policy relating to emerging technology within the United States and European countries has always fascinated him, alongside their integration of groundbreaking innovations such as artificial intelligence into contemporary commercial and military hardware. Jules’ interest in international affairs and the intricacies of how technologies are utilized and deployed for different purposes was kindled by the onset of the Russo-Ukrainian war, a conflict which continues to have a considerable impact on the wider world today.
